Recently, many friends who care about Maxthon browser have heard the development plan of MX6, and some community members have even downloaded the test package of MX6 Alpha version. However, due to the confidentiality policy of the development period, it is still mysterious.

After 7 months closed development, the first official Alpha version of MX6 browser has been packaged today. This means that MX6 browser is coming.

Maxthon Browser is a 20-year-old veteran browser.

Hard pass on Maxthon. Personal preference not to have any of my data through Chinese servers. I do, however, enjoy how their US office is prominently displayed rather than their Beijing one. To each their own on this matter.

Chinese browser, although the company claims they have never been contacted ever in their entire existence to hand over data.

Development is iffy, updates are not consistent, and the chromium core is often outdated. Would I recommend? Probably not.
