Hello
I was thinking if we could create a specific "Android malware removal" section in our Forum.
Many people have or will have Android malware problems.
We could create this section with the custom fields:
- Android version.
- Rooted: yes/no.
- Anti-virus: yes/no/what.
- Infection date and initial symptoms.
- Current issues and symptoms.
- Steps taken in order to remove the infection.
This makes the context clear and interpretable.
Currently we do not have an official support for Android malware removal and I am aware that under Android it is not possible to investigate such as under Windows, but in some situations the opinions/advice of our Community can be valuable.
For example, a "browser based scam attack" can "infect" (not really) the phone but it is easily solved by closing the browser and clearing the cache and data but some newbies doesn't know that.
Also, some tips would be useful to explain how to reset the device where this was the last chance.
What do you think?
