Apple has officially announced the iPhone 7 today. The new iPhone features a design that's very similar to last year's iPhone 6S (and the year prior's iPhone 6), with a rounded aluminum body. But what's entirely new is the phone's water resistance, which means you can get the iPhone 7 wet without worry. Also new is the long-rumored dual camera system, stereo speakers, and a darker black color scheme. And, as expected, the iPhone 7 does not have a headphone jack, rendering countless 3.5mm headphones useless with the device.

Apple says the new phone will be available for purchase on September 16th, though preorders start today. The device was revealed by Apple's Twitter account ahead of being announced on stage, a rare blunder for an Apple product launch.

Am I impressed with iPhones? Yes. I'm impressed with Apple as a company - especially for their privacy standards. The price is WAY out of my reach (as with pretty much everything they make). I'm not much of a phone person so I just get a phone that is reliable and works well over the years of owning it.

Two in my family have used the iPhone 4 and an iPad (unsure of the model) so I was able to pay around with them. If they weren't so expensive (or I had the money) I probably would buy an iPhone. What I don't like about Apple is that they keep releasing device after device and don't really differ from each other enough to justify the kind of money you have to spend.

sorry to say that but who even think about bying a iphone is stupid for me. the price for that hardware is laughable. u just pay for the name, no thank you.
Im an android fan but I must say iphones have some advantages. The first, very important, is hardware durability and stability. my family owned many apple devices and none of them have broken yet, I have ip2g, 4s and ipad 1 as ancient devices. nothing breaks, even physical buttons
I have used samsung, sony, htc, asus. All of them have had some kinds of problems like touchscreen insensivity/ghost touch, physical buttons dropped out and no more software updates in early versions (flagships).
I had the worst experience from sony as my Z3 has so many problems, countless users have had the same problems

So if I wanna buy phones, I just buy from samsung and apple

So, IOS is no more secure than Android?
Can you believe iOS is secure after all you read about iOS vulnerabilities?

Some people like it because privacy decisions against FBI.
But an Israeli company, can 'hack' the iPhone basically and give the information what FBI needs. After that day, there is no news from iOS, FBI and others because problem solved. People are happy with their "expensive" phones :)

If I pay those moneys to a basic phone, I felt compelled to defend it ;)

But the FBI were unable to bypass the iPhone, because Apple are taking them to court and have made their iOS more secure, android is being hacked by small time people, not the NSA.

RE Trend Micro that's from 2015 and was addressed in iOS 8.4

And Apple fix errors and zero-days sometimes in a few days, Android bugs are years old.

I must admit I have followed a lot of articles to make it more secure i.e., no apple pay, use alpha numeric code, not finger print, disabled NFC, and enabled all parental controls.

I pay more, not for security, but (when you buy crap, you get crap, my auntie always told me) no Android device lasted long, terrible google play with loads of fake apps, and I' trust apple over Google any day.
