In my latest Micropoo updates it installed Bing Bar 7. No problem as I thought it would come in handy for IE 11. When I opened IE 11 it said Bing Bar was incompatible & said to disable it which I did. You would think Micropoo with all its Billions of dollars could hire the best top notch employees that actually know what there doing! I guess not IMO.

Do you have Recommended and Microsoft Updates enabled?

The only time I have encountered the Bing Bar update, it was Optional.

Yes I have updates enabled. I really don't think Micropoo is going to install anything dangerous on my PC. Useless updates...they are good at that IMO.

Micropoo installed something dangerous on my computer too, it's known as Windows :(

Ever since installing it, my computers turned into a battle field, viruses and adware swarming for me like drones, getting shot down left right and centre, sometimes making it through. Hackers charging in trying to overtake my base and steal my coffee machine (as hackers do)..

I think this early computer virus sums things up pretty well:

Correct Cowpipe! Sometimes I do feel like I am at WAR. With almost any free App containing adware/malware & other nasty things.

My advice is if it has Bar in the title, unless the first word is chocolate, don't click on it...

Ask.com Bar
Bing Bar
Coupon Bar
HotBar
Key Bar
Weather Bar
You-Bar

The list could go on for several pages....
