Minecraft coming to PS3, 18th Dec

Christmas is coming early, PS3 players!

We can now confirm that Minecraft: Playstation 3 Edition will be available to download this Wednesday, December 18th from the Playstation Store (if you’re based in the EU). Expect it to cost about the same as the Xbox 360 version.

About Minecraft, is a game about breaking and placing blocks. At first, people built structures to protect against nocturnal monsters, but as the game grew players worked together to create wonderful, imaginative things.

I'd still prefer the PC version though.

I'm guessing the PC version is full-featured and more customisable, but at least they're offering their game to other gamers with "PS3 and Xbox" Editions.

Minecraft is an awesome game and the fact that they are now offering to PS3 gamers is awesome in itself.
