Kuttus, I really appreciate your help here. This is great. Reatogo loaded but sorry to say that my relief was short lived.... when I tried to execute the FRST file from USB I got the following BSOD message and predicatbly the keyboard is locked : " A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer. BAD_POOL_CALLER If this is the first time you;ve seen this stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps: Check to make sure any new hardware or software is propberly installed. If this is a new installation, ask yourhardware or software manufacturerfor any windows updates you might need. If problems continue, disable or remove any newly installed hardware or software. Disable BIOS memory options such as caching or shadowing. If you need to use Safe Mode to remove or disable components, restart your computer, press F8 to select Advanced Startup options, and then select Safe mode. Technical information : *** STOP: 0x000000c2 (oxoooooo43, 0xD6F65000, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) " Not sure what is causing the BSOD or if I should try to boot again or not. Looking forward to your reply! P.s. I have my wireless manually turned off (hard external switch) on the machine we are working on.
