Mozilla starts on Firefox 5 designs

Mozilla hasn't officially announced these future-Firefox mockups, although they have landed at the company's Are We Pretty Yet Web site. These are not final designs, although they do provide a rough map of some places the company is planning to take the browser.

Internet Explorer's Pinned sites are set to come to Firefox 5, currently called Site-Specific Browsers. One of the more interesting innovations in IE9, the feature allows users to pin a site-specific icon to the Windows 7 taskbar and includes customized options chosen by site developers. Some of the developer options Mozilla appears to be considering appear on the following images.
