Hi Joshua Akins, thanks for sharing your configuration. I'll second Sasa's suggestion of an adblocker.
Two excellent adblockers that both use very low resources:

1. Adguard http://adguard.com/en/extension.html
2. ublock https://github.com/gorhill/uBlock

An important free software which comes highly recommended by The Wise Oracles of Malware Tips whom watch over us all from high upon Mt. Olympus, is called Malwarebytes Anti-Malware, and it's a very good secondary scanner.
