Electronic Arts just revealed that their latest Need for Speed game that's now available only on Xbox One and PlayStation 4, will be coming to PC in a month.

The latest Need for Speed didn't get any fancy names, and it was supposed to be a reboot of the franchise. If that was a success, it remains to be determined, but now the game will also arrive for PC gamers, four months after its original debut.

Need for Speed is the first one that didn't make to the PC along with the rest, and it's not really clear why. What we do know is that it's an “always online” experience and some users have already reported some issues with this policy.

Need for Speed gets support for racing wheels, 4k resolution, and more
In any case, Electronic Arts is trying to get the PC gamers excited again about the prospect of playing a new NFS, and we have to admit that their latest trailer looks incredibly good.

On the other hand, it's interesting to see that the studio focused a lot on the fact that support for various racing wheels has been added, and it's available for PC users. It's nice, but it's not really the kind of things that we want. Give us a great engine that can do 60 FPS and we're good. The do mentioned unlocked framerate, so that's a plus.

“The extra development time has allowed us to create the definitive NFS PC experience. One of the burning topics of discussion amongst our Community has been the inclusion of Manual Transmission - we can now confirm this will be in the game when Need for Speed launches on PC,” the developers explained.

This was one of the main problems with the original game that landed in November, but it seems that EA will correct this for console players as well.

Need for Speed on the PC will arrive on March 15, but if you have a subscription to Origin Access, you will be able to play it early for a limited time, starting March 10.
