Please welcome the version 24.2 of Avast AV released on March 5th, 2024

Major public announcement:

• Mostly bug fixing and product optimisations.
• Firewall is installed in new installation of the Free versions.
• HOTFIX - removed the confusing UI promoting the updates - Avast 24.2.6104 (version 24.2.8904.819)

How to install:

• Update from your existing Avast version via Settings -> Update -> Update program
• Or you can download and install files:

Funny the Bot cannot wait to install the Avast latest version, does it get a pass on baloney,or does it really mean I have to respond to everything(Anyone know if my wife was part of its program team?)
