I suspect something is wrong with this chart also Emsisoft is listed twice.

ZoneAlarm has had update problems in the past maybe it was not updated to the current signatures, it should have the same results as Kaspersky. Also Digital Defender, UtilTool, Preventon, Vexx Guard and others listed there together all use Agnitum as a single AV engine. There is no way these others could get a higher score than Agnitum.

I believe they need to correct these errors.

Thanks. :D

TrustPort Antivirus has won first place in the tests of Virus Bulletin
RAP Reactive / Overall average - 99.7% / 95.3%, an increase in the load on the CPU - 9.94%

I believe ZoneAlarm uses an older Kaspersky engine, version 7 I think.

Only solutions that detect 100% of infected samples and produce 0% false positives receive these certificates. Virus Bulletin conducts the “classic” rather than “real world” test; products evaluate a collection of files that includes a small number of current viruses. A good-quality product is quite capable of achieving the 100% result. For example, the April results show that 29 of 67 security solutions successfully passed testing. Unfortunately, the VB100 certification does not take into account the performance and the repair quality, which makes a full evaluation of a product impossible. A consumer has to bear in mind another feature of the VB100 award – the logo could be used in vendor’s marketing material even after one basic level certification.

I used to trust VirusBulletin over other AV testing sites but here lately it appears that they have joined the AV advertising campaign just like the rest. They require to have a paid subscription to view the details of their testing, you only can view basic info which is basically useless.

Thanks. :D
