I have Avast Premium installed on my Acer laptop and I can say it is the lightest on resources. I have chosen not to install most of the crap including Real Site, DND, Software Updater, and a bunch of those unnecessary features. BTW Avast is one of the very few products at allows u to choose what components to install which is nice to be honest (G Data too).
