New Zealand’s third-largest internet provider Vocus NZ was hit by an aggressive DDoS attack that triggered a widespread internet outage.
A spokesperson said that the Vocus engineering team has verified the issue is related to a distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack.
Vocus holds around 15 percent of the country’s broadband customers and owns Orcon, Slingshot. Flip and stuff fibre.
