I came across a very odd issue. I was making a VPN killswitch for funsies, as one does when they're bored. Using the Comodo Firewall, I need to get the mac address (physical address) of the VPN adapter/tap, then allow traffic only to/from that mac and block everything no originating from/to that address. Easy enough. I ran ipconfig /all as admin, as required. Unknown adapter Mullvad: Connection-specific DNS Suffix . : IPv6 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : Link-local IPv6 Address . . . . . : IPv4 Address. . . . . . . . . . . : Subnet Mask . . . . . . . . . . . : Default Gateway . . . . . . . . . : Why is there no physical address line? In fact, there is no physical address line for any adapter, and I don't know why. I'm obviously able to connect, and am able to connect through the Mullvad. Also, since when is the Mullvad adapter named "Unknown adapter Mullvad"? Something's off here. I'm confused.
