in my opinion this new version is worse than 2011 one...

in 2011 was a VERY good antivirus but now is really weak...the new download insight causes many false positives , with all "insight" off , 0 day protection is really bad...+ my VM dead :lolzi tested it----IS Version)

but, you must know.
NOT all AV or IS programs have a great feature and great detection. Probably missed one or so. we dont know what the "missed by AV or IS" ?
and, i always use common sense when install software. check background company ,and rating about the software at famous site, such as filehippo, softpedia.

Well if you test with rootkits and ransomwares, the chance were AV could be failed or pass. Since they are known that AV could hardly detect it.

i'll test AV or IS against ransom.

win7holic, do/did you have Norton Safe Web Lite or any other Norton product installed? Norton AntiVirus 2012 only uses two processes.

i installed but separate process. download from norton site.
