What is the exact difference between boot-time protection on 'normal' vs 'aggressive'?

I think it has to do with the Early Start Anti-Malware (ELAM) feature in Windows (8+) that allows Anti-Malware programs start as soon as possible to detect malware. I can imagine that this setting tells Norton:
1. How early the protection should start (only before non-Microsoft services or as soon as possible)
2. The setting of the scan engine or protection features started (heuristics, etc.)

Clearly when we say aggressive hence the program will try to execute in fast pace as possible however the detection will depend too.
