Prorootect, if it remains as a free product then maybe you could add it to your list.

Download the Beta:
https://identitysafe-beta.norton.com/

It's ID Protection plus Safe Web, as a toolbar with a search engine, so you might not want to ditch LastPass or Keepass just yet.

It also works on Google Chrome.. In fact it supports all the important web browsers...
Like Earth said a small dissatvantage would be that unlike LastPass besides the icon , you also get a toolbar (2005 style.... :p)...but you can very easily close it by pressing the X button on the left.

And a much more bigger downside when compared with LastPass is that when you close the browser Norton Identy Safe still runs in the background as it has it's own services which runs all the the time...

I've only tested it on a few site and yes, it does what it suppose to do.....without annoying the user.

As a plus I would add , that you also get the Norton Safe Web rating for the website which is displayed on the Norton Icon and on Google Search...that's cool:D

Just noticed that , unlike on Chrome , in Firefox the toolbar doesn't have a 'close button (X)' so you'll be stuck with it.......

Kind of like AVG LinkScanner, it always runs even when all browsers are closed. I don't think most users will like that idea.

Another reason why many Firefox users won't like it.

You can get Norton Safe Web with the LinkExtend extension for Firefox.

Also includes: Web of Trust, McAfee SiteAdvisor, Crawler Web Security Guard, PC Tools Browser Defender and Google Safe Browsing all in one extension which can be customized. It doesn't run after you close your browsers and doesn't add any extra processes or services.

Thanks.:D

You can hide the toolbar in Firefox like any other. View > Toolbars.

With the toolbar hidden, since Chrome has the button, you will know that you are on a green, orange or grey rated website but you will not in Firefox (you will still be blocked in Firefox from going to a red rated website and still see the search annotations).
