To put it mildly, Norton V24 can already be called the skinned version of Avast, the top technology IPS, SONAR and so on no longer exist, can't help but be sad. I conservatively don't think Avast's network protection can reach such a top level as Norton once had. When I learnt that Gen had acquired a number of capable and skilled security software companies, I was even looking forward to the emergence of an ultimate security software, but I was a bit disappointed that Gen has not been able to merge the technologies so far, but has instead researched its mining in the first place. Maybe it just needs time. Hopefully there will be an ultimate version of Norton. I'll be sure to support it when it does. The following picture is attached: using TrendMicroBAS to test Norton V22/Norton 24(Avast) and Kaspersky. this is reproduced from a Chinese security software forum. Translation: NortonV22 is now known to be detectable, Kaspersky and Avast do not respond. Whether it is accurate or not is not talked about, at least it can reflect whether NortonV24 still contains Symantec's IPS component. All traffic is simulated and does not cause actual harm, so you can feel free to test it live. (Norton detected the threat and prevented, while Kaspersky did not) Translation: Norton V24 seems to make everyone down.
