This is my old system which i have been using since 2012 and it still works great. Upgraded from windows 7 to windows 10 last month.

I also recommend you swap out Adblock Plus for uBlock Origin.

Hi Jack,

I have used zemana antimalware and malwarebyte on windows 7 before. Both apps worked great. I liked it very much, very light and easy to use. Will try again for sure.

I just checked uBlock Origin and found to be the top rated ad blocker. Wow, why didn't i know about this?

Ditto what Frog said Reflect is a surefire easy way to image or clone a drive so that your never out in the cold in the event of a failed HD, or corruption issue.

As others have suggested adding some on demand scanners.
Consider a Password Manager.
Consider uBlock Origin in place of ABD+
Consider a system back up solution.
