What about the level of radiation emitted from nuclear battery and how do people dispose used batteries safely without causing radiation threats to the environment? Disposable seems to be a biggest issue as people are not going to use a phone for 50 years.
Here is what they say if it can be believed:

"Betavolt says its device is safe and emits no external radiation. Atomic energy batteries are environmentally friendly, the company says. The nickel-63 isotope decays into copper with a half-life of approximately 100 years. After decay, it would not pose any threat to the environment. Therefore, unlike existing chemical batteries, nuclear batteries do not require an expensive recycling process, Betavolt said."

You can produce more energy with a very small solar panel
And no with betavolt battery you couldn't power a modern cellphone

So it doesn't even matter the radiation part if the technology is useless anyway

Not useless. While solar panels work better in most cases, nuclear diamond batteries are good for long-lasting, low-energy needs where solar panels can't be used.

I meant useless for phones
There are indeed nice applications for the technology bin extreme low wattage devices
