Virustotal says its adware or comes with adware rather. I prefer acronis myself!

1/55 Zilya engine - Probably a false positive as installer only checks for a new version during install. Installed and runs perfectly in VM, no adware/toolbars nothing.

There's no adware in this software IMO unless one count what exterminator20 mentioned about there emails adverts. They can be real annoying but for me those always ends up in the spambox anyway.

I think the installer is fine you can always do a "custom install" if you want to be sure what is installing.
