Advice Request O&O Shutup10 - is this free software worth using to improve privacy?

I recently discovered some free software by O&O called "Shutup10".

I understand that it provides an easy way to improve privacy in Windows 10, including those which are not easily contolled under the standard Windows settings options.

My questions are...

Has anyone used this ?
Would people recommend this software ?
Are O&O a trustworthy company ?

Its been around since the launch of windows 10 and recommended and trusted by a lot of sites. I recommend using it if not for the privacy and telemetry, its to have a bit of control over your OS =D

If not used correctly, it will brick your windows. Had it happen to me the frist time I used it and will never go back.

I'd suggest using WPD instead: WPD

Has additional Window Firewall lists in settings to block Microsofts Telemetry and spy IPs.

I use a combination of WPD + PrivateWin10.

Using it since day one, never had issues, does what it is supposed to do.
Just be sure to read and understand the infos before enabling anything.
Do a backup if you test stuff.

I have also been using it for quite long, some times with nearly everything switched off. It has not done any harm till now.

I did enable most of recommended settings in Shutup10, but somehow I see Store doesn't open.
Changing what settings did affect that?

You may have inadvertently changed a setting indicated as "limited"...Check to make sure, as some of these settings can break some functionality.
