1. First and foremost, the new software is compatible with Windows 8. General drivers are supported.
2. The new Outpost already knows how to block infected Metro apps in Windows 8
3. Outpost 7.6 improves performance with torrent clients, eliminating occasional zero connections, slow-downs and freezes
4. Attack Detection issues were fixed in the new version, reaction logic in case of multiple attackers was improved
5. BSODs caused by network applications operation in fast networks were fixed
6. Blocking and freezing issues caused by the content filtering mechanism were fixed
7. Outpost Security Suite and Outpost Antivirus Pro 7.6 extended their capabilities of suspicious files detection and sending them over for analysis
8. Processing of IPv6 addresses was improved
9. Outpost Suite and the standalone firewall provide ICMPv6 support in firewall rules names
10. Logs were moved from the product folder into the common Application Data folder
11. Low-level rules priority issues were fixed
12. Blockpost module operation in suspended protection mode was improved for Outpost Security Suite and Outpost Firewall.

they did not upgrade their free version for near around 1 and half years now.....

Still have a soft spot for Outpost.
Will keep an eye on it's further development with interest :)

UI is really simple, i also like their UI, but they should offer more feature on their free version..
