Patch C for version KIS/KAV 2018 version 18.0.0.405 was released on August 14, 2017.

The patch is being gradually released.

Patch C is installed automatically with the databases update. Please insure that automatic database is enabled, and reboot.

Before rebooting, you can view the detailed update reports, to see if patch C related items have been included with the automatic database update.

If you un and re install Kaspersky, or install Kaspersky during the week when the latest patch is being gradually released, there may be a several day wait until the patch shows up in the new install.

Patch C is installed automatically with the database update of Kaspersky Internet Security 2018 version 18.0.0.405 and fixes the following:

  • MS Outlook not responding when Anti-Spam is enabled.
  • Some interface errors.
  • MS Edge пnot responding when trying to open https pages.
  • Returning errors or not responding when managed via the touchscreen running under Windows 10 Creators Update (Redstone 2).
Also:
  • The patch updates the notification on unsecured Wi-Fi networks. Now the notification specifies the cause of the vulnerability and gives recommendations on eliminating it.
  • Restores the use of Secure Connection in Ukraine.
To install patch C:

  1. Run the database update of Kaspersky Internet Security 2018.
  2. Restart the computer when the update is completed.
  3. Open the application.
  4. In the lower part of the window, click the Support icon.
  5. If the update is successful, the letter c will be added to the application version.
