Things you need to need about PC Pitstop Exterminate:

1. It has been known to give fake scan results to get users to buy it- rogueware.
2. It offers no fully functional trial, only a demo mode that scans only. You have to buy it to see how it fully functions.
3. It adds system startup processes and services when you install the demo version for some unknown reason and will continue to nag you to buy it.

This products use to be detected as rogueware /phishing scam by most AV scanners until they contacted them and ask to be removed from their database, in exchange they started offering and 30 day money back guarantee to customers who didn't like the product after paying for it. They also improved the uninstall feature to completely remove the product, previously even after it was uninstalled it would still nag you to buy it.

Even though it has cleaned up a bit, I still would not trust it since they are much better options.

Thanks.:D
