Play Watch Dogs 2 for free on your Xbox One on January 24

Watch dogs 2 was released in November last year to favorable reviews. However, the game didn't sell as well as Ubisoft had expected. Now, the company is offering gamers on Xbox One the chance to play the game for free, albeit in a time-limited fashion.

While the company allowed PlayStation 4 gamers to play the game for free yesterday, Xbox One users will have to wait until January 24. People still on the fence about the game can play it and decide for themselves. Users will have full access to the game for three hours, including single player mode and co-op mode. The multiplayer feature requires Xbox Live Gold membership.

For the uninitiated, the game's description reads:

Use hacking as a weapon in the massive & dynamic open world of Watch Dogs 2.In 2016, ctOS 2.0, an advanced operating system networking city infrastructure, was implemented in several US cities to create a safer, more efficient metropolis.

Play as Marcus Holloway, a brilliant young hacker living in the birthplace of the tech revolution, the San Francisco Bay Area. Team up with Dedsec, a notorious group of hackers, and expose the hidden dangers of ctOS 2.0, which, in the hands of corrupt corporations, is being wrongfully used to monitor and manipulate citizens on a massive scale.

If you wish to buy the game after the trial expires, your progress will be transferred to the full game. You can download Watch Dogs 2 for Xbox One from here.

Thanks, downloading now to try it out. Free trials are the deciding factor between someone buying the game or not. Is 3 hours enough for Watch_Dogs 2? Because Rise of the Tomb Raider is limited to 1-hour for an Adventure-based game.
