The team at Sony in charge of the PlayStation 4 announces that it is planning to launch two big bundles including the PlayStation 4 home console for Black Friday, allowing gamers to get access to some great titles during the biggest shopping season of the year.

Players who want to get access to the new platform and some of the most important experiences linked to it can choose between a package focused on action titles and one with more of a family focus.

Sony is offering a PlayStation 4 featuring a 500 GB console and a copy of Grand Theft Auto V for the price of 399 dollars or 449 Canadian dollars, the equivalent of about 312 Euro, and the package also includes a download code that gives customers access to the Remastered version of The Last of Us.

The official announcement on the PS Blog states, "The critically acclaimed open world, Grand Theft Auto V, comes to PlayStation 4 with a host of technical upgrades and enhancements including enhanced resolution, greater draw distances, new wildlife, vehicles and weapons, and a brand new seamlessly integrated first-person mode."

Gamers can transfer changes from the PS3 version of GTA V to the PlayStation 4 and they will also get access to an exclusive array of weapons, vehicles and collectibles, while also being able to experience a range of gameplay improvements.
PlayStation 4 is also being bundled with LEGO Batman 3 and LittleBigPlanet 3
The second bundle including the PlayStation 4 comes complete with LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and LittleBigPlanet 3 and is offered for the same price as the one above.

LBP 3 is designed to focus on the creative elements of the series and allows gamers to once again control Sackboy.

Sony says that the two bundles are offered in limited quantities and that means those who are interested in getting access to them need to make sure that they get to stores as quickly as possible on Black Friday.

The announcement of the two bundles, which come for the normal price of the console and introduce some very big titles as a bonus, is designed to counter the price cut that Microsoft introduced on November 2 for the Xbox One.

Apparently, the smaller price is working and has made the console triple its sales in just one week, and Sony needs to make sure that it counters it in order to push the PlayStation 4 forward during the very important Christmas shopping season.
