Last night everything that I was having problems with was working fine including Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. There was a Windows update when I turned off the computer last night, so I installed it. This morning when I started the computer, there was a message: "Web bar encountered a problem and need to restart." I tried cliking "ok" but it kept coming back, so I hit canceled and everything loaded except Windows Gadgets (I later checked in Control Panel and in turn Windows Features on or off, but the check box was already checked for Gadgets. Yesterday after rebooting gadgets was loading perfectly fine. I then tried to access Google Chrome and had the same issue when the dllhost.exe 32 COM Surrogate virus was still present. This is the same error message this mornng, "Google cannot read and write to this directory C:Users\FredricJLowe\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\UserData" And when I tried to launch Firefox it said, "Your Firefox profile cannot be loaded. It may be missing or inaccessible." I am able to access ACT! without issue. I am not sure why you sent the uninstaller for that. I'll wait to hear back from you before doing your last step of uninstalling all of the tools we used yesterday. Thank you again for all of your assistance to date!!
