[QUOTE="malwarekiller, post: 48471, member: 1359"] Go to Start -> Run and enter gpedit.msc in the Open box. Click OK. In the Group Policy console, navigate to the following location. Computer Configuration -> Administrative Template -> System -> System Restore In the right hand pane, right click on Turn off Configuration and select Properties from the menu. Change the setting to Not Configured. Click OK. Check the status of System Restore. If that doesn't fix the problem run the Registry Editor (Start -> Run -> regedit.exe) and check the following registry key. HKLM\Software\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\SystemRestore Look in the right hand pane for a value named DisableConfig. Delete it if it's present. Check System Restore on the System properties sheet.
