Constructed to be incredibly powerful yet mobile, this revolutionary laptop gives you easy access to three eye-popping 4K displays. Regardless of where you are, you can have the visual superiority of a 12K desktop setup to excel at both work and play.

Featuring three stunning high resolution 17.3 inch 4K screens, Project Valerie provides the most expansive viewing experience in a notebook. Powered by an NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 1080 GPU, and natively supporting NVIDIA Surround View with a whopping resolution of 11520 x 2160, get a wider view of the race track or the battlefield for an unmatched immersive experience.

The 12K multi-display gives you the expansive workspace and flexibility to tackle any task. Utilize the three displays as one to span your creative projects across the large screen real estate. Alternatively, take advantage of each display independently, running multiple applications simultaneously allowing for multi-tasking like never before.

Without compromising on style or performance, Project Valerie is engineered with an automated deployment system utilizing highly durable aluminum hinges. This allows the two side displays to quickly deploy and lock into place ensuring the perfect alignment in a matter of seconds.

While providing you with three truly stunning displays, Project Valerie stays incredibly portable with a form factor that is comparable to other 17 inch gaming laptops which only provide a single display. The compact chassis fits in your laptop bag so you can have a triple display desktop experience anywhere, anytime.

looks cool and everything has me drooling, no point for me to be purchasing one. Gonna sit on my desk all day, might as well get a triple monitor frameless desktop setup Tri-Sli, etc etc for about same price.

With reality and common sense out of the way, I want one =P gotta show off at lan parties and imagine the ooooo's and ahhhhh's i get at starbucks. :p:p:p Might also be a female magnet or repellant.

lMight also be a female magnet or repellant.

Suspect that latter, but it looks seriously cool, though I suspect its practicality, you really need to be able to change your videocard etc on a gaming machine to keep up with games requirements, and a mainframe is better for that. Also you have serious cooling issues with your processor and video card which is another reason a mainframe is better.

I haven't really played shoot-em-ups etc for many years now - unfortunately I get motion sickness with them, so can't - I used to get to the point of puking when I'd had hour long sessions of Doom. Never understood why I get it with games, but not, for example watching Formula 1 racing on TV, where they are in the drivers seat. Even higher resolution games, and smoother graphics dont help.

I am going to assume it would have specs similar to this bad boy

Acer Predator 21X Gaming Laptop witha curved screen

CES 2017: Acer announces new PCs for gaming, immersive 4K entertainment and virtual reality - Windows Experience Blog

The Predator 21 X features the latest 7th Generation Intel Core i7-7820HK processor, 5 cooling fans and dual NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080 GPUs in SLI for unmatched graphics performance. It offers a curved 21-inch IPS display and delivers a truly immersive gaming experience, especially when combined with the notebook’s Tobii eye-tracking technology. The curved screen also features NVIDIA G-SYNC technology, ensuring smooth and sharp gameplay.

Good news is it is only $8,999 USD :D

For sure some people are interested since the portability defeats the actual desktop computer.

Although I don't like in the sense where the keyboard may turn very hot when gaming is ON. (You need an external keyboard)

-------------

4k video resolution
,interesting although 'overrated' where a HD up to little higher specification is fine.

i personally don't enjoy gaming on a triple monitor setup especially competitive gaming because it is hard to keep track on what is happening around you sure it has some advantages but it isn't that practical. From a productivity perspective i highly recommend and enjoy multiple monitor setup and it is efficient too.
I used to have a dual monitor setup that i used for productivity purposes and whenever i'm gaming i use only one monitor.
Also, $8, 999 USD for a laptop with a triple monitor setup?
you can buy a far more advanced desktop with better specs with 4 4k displays for a lot less(if you are aiming for portability then sure).
That laptop looks like a Razer Blade Pro with 2 displays glued to the sides... xD
Is it me or the game is slightly lagging on the laptop?
This is only my opinion and it may differ from a person to another.

Nice idea, but waaaaaaaaaaaay out of common people price range!

I had a chance to work on some graphic projects, and I know many designers would appreciate an invention like this for their work. Most of the people that are using Photoshop, for instance, need two screens, this way, they can be mobile.

I'm sure this idea will be applied more in a year or so, but for professional, not just gaming usage.
