Qihoo just announced 2nd quarter earnings yesterday. During results discussion they notes that their PC based products had a user base of 514 million (up from 496 million last year), and their mobile security product was being used by 799 million (up from 641 million last year).
Let me give an interesting quote from an article in Barron's today:
"Qihoo also has a flair for the exotic. It’s particularly animated on the ‘internet of things’, especially when it comes to cars: its new 360 Auto Guard app is basically a black box for automobiles. At a recent event Qihoo eggheads hacked into and took control of a Tesla Model S’s onboard computer. CEO Hongyi Zhou says he sees opportunities in this sort of high-tech wizardry to reach more end users down the road."
