@RageDaddy: follow the suggestions already mentioned by @JM Security., and specially enable UAC & SmartScreen, also add a Disk Imaging Backup.

Also:

- Specify the exact version (number build) of TrendMicro solution are You using.

- Please kindly edit Your config and delete TrendMicro from the field: Virus and Malware Removal Tools, since is it not an on demand tool, and You already has it as a real.time protection.

Thanks for sharing :giggle:

Some tips:
- UAC to max
- Enable Smartscreen
- Add Zemana/Hitman Pro
- Remove Privacy Badger and tweak uBlock Origin (you can find lots of info on the forum)
- Switch to Chrome (you can see why most Chromium alternatives are just inferior to the main browser on the forum)
- Add a regular backup plan with Macrium Reflect Free
- Enable Edge (very secure browser, good as backup)
- Consider hardening Windows policies by using Hard_Configurator or SysHardener
Thanks for sharing.
