Hi, currently I'm going to a Uni soon.
I'm thinking of picking up Windscribe VPN since the accommodation provided uses a shared wifi, is it a good choice? I browse articles and read up documentations mostly so speed is no a high concern for me. I can use my mobile hotpot for low latency purposes like online gaming (but limited in quota, so I would most likely rely on the accommodation wifi) if required.
Also, is there any other recommendation since I'm going to be using a shared wifi other than a VPN? I've read about NetCut stuff so should I be taking precautions against it? I did not find any mentions about KIS 2017 firewall offering protection against NetCut.
