This originally was a decent product and not a scam. It had the potential to be able fix issues with Windows that other software couldn't. It could even find corrupted system files and download and replace them with working versions. The original publishers had planned to make a bootable version, which could potentially fix unbootable systems and get them working again. However, it seems that a few years after it was released, the company was sold. Since then, the software has been aggressively marketed, but there have been very few changes and improvements. This is a shame, as it originally was a very promising concept. In it's current state, it is not malicious, but is unremarkable. Tweaking.com's Windows Repair software, is a much better option and it's free.
