Resetting commercial Android app

Hello, guys! I have a question about Android apps.
If an apk will expire in short time, how can we reset only the trial app and not the whole system?
I've seen that you'll have to reset whole system in order to re-install the brought app.

Have you attempted removing the app (uninstalling) from your Android device and redownloading it?

Not yet, but I'll give a chance to try. Also, I think that reinstalling the app lose the data, a trouble for most of the apps.
