Advice Request Rising Antivirus ... is this product still worth

I used Rising antivirus long ago and it was very good
it was like databases of bitdefender + comodo firewall
at that time many good antivirus were behind it though it also had high number of FP

i was one of my favorite product ..
but now there are no program updates only database update
is it still worth with a second opinion scanner

any one know similar free products ..?

It is still updated, but has major issues with false positives
