Hey MalwareTips. I'm Dima, indie dev working on an app safespace.is
I've built after seeing all the apps in the App Store going subscription and VC route. Although I have some photos and videos I don't want to be published on the web, the inconvenience of saving them isn't enough to pay 20$.
Especially with weak privacy claims. "Pay us 20$ per month, and we'll save it on our server securely" type of claims.
that's how initial idea for SafeSpace was born.
- No subscriptions. 1 time payment to use unlimited
- Real e2e encryption. All files should be encrypted before leaving device
- No central server. Instead of storing user's files on my servers, use iCloud
Original idea was changed later on with Converter as additional disguise feature, which caused both lots of sales and lots of issue with Apple, which I'm solving still, but it's a longer topic for another time.
