My computer is infected by a hacker’s ROOTKIT. Every USB drives immediately gets infected on Track 0 and the following hidden system files in the System volume Information folder that there is no way of deletring: IndexerVolumeGuid, MasterFileStatus.db, MountpointManagerRemoteDatbase, klmeta.dat, VectorFileStatus.db, WPSettings.db, and a FilProtector folder >> STDB >> status.db. Is there any way of removing this rootkit other than reformattinmg the PC? Thanks.

These folders and files are, among others, part of system restore and created automatically by your system. They are nothing to worry about.
