Edit 7 @ June 10th 2022 RTP: From ESET IS To Avira Antivirus Pro. I'm giving it a using Avira, one of my favorite AV vendors. - Pros: It became very light on resource usage almost as F-Secure. Removed outdated some legacy UIs like Luke Filewalker. I really hated UI discrepancy inside and outside of Avira UI but much better now. Web Protection is working fine, I was surprised that the program doesn't need extra browser extension to block harmful website. Scan speed is also fast. - Cons: Overall Program is still unstable. Rarely, it doesn't show alert. As known, the context menu scan and log area don't exist. Changed UI is better than before but it doesn't mean it's nice, honestly I doubt there's proper design team in Avira corp. Bloatwares come together when installing Security. I guess Avira uses optimizer from Ccleaner? It breaks some other program files. So I never use optimizing or smart scan. The Sentry SDK is on my working process list but never seen it's 'really' working. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Avira is.....nah 😒 Trial for a week or so. I doubt Avira(Norton exactly) will continue it's product line. Product even seems to be not tested inside the corp. Going back to ESET or F-secure
