• Note: for the fix to take full effect the shell integration need to be re applied

If you have issues with an update installation, just uninstall the previous version keeping the sandboxie.ini and reinstall the new build.

I tried sbie+ "installer" Help | check for updates | and it found 1.12.7 & downloaded it but it would not install, so appreciate message to uninstall current and reinstall new version but keeping the sandboxie.ini. During the uninstall you are given to the option to keep config and sandboxes, which I did, and install of 1.12.7 appears "successful"

@simmerskool Afik sandboxies "auto update" (like download and install all within sandboxie) is now only working when you got a paid license. I think it was somewhere in the last 2-3 changelogs.

I have a paid personal license. I appeared to download 1.12.7.exe but did not run it. But manually installed now and seems to be running aok... Overall I have more to learn re sbie+
