Hot on the heels of the news about a reshare bug on Google+, we’ve detected another flaw that should be of real concern to users

The Financial Times already reported on the important privacy issue regarding the reshare feature that cannot be disabled by default, and this related flaw presents similar problems.

One of the main features of Google+ is Circles, the possibility to easily share the right content to the right people. However, once the content has been shared to a Circle, anyone can share it by default to other Circles. It boils down to the fact that the tagging feature can be bypassed by using the reshare option. Let's say user “A” shares a picture only to their “Close Friends” circle, and disables resharing. All it takes is for someone from that "Close friend" circle to tag a person from outside this circle in the picture. Once this has been done, that person can share the picture to anyone, in any way.

Google+ is still in a closed beta phase and users need an invitation to join but it's a good thing that Google is fixing all this problems in a very short period.Bugs like these will continue to be discovered and then fixed ,hopefully everything will be "OK" when Google will go all "Official" with it's "+" project. As always it's a good idea not to share very personal info on the internet. ;)

And that's not the only problem that Google has :

The first big Google+ spam campaign blasted out by pill-pushers

In what may very well be the first major cybercriminal campaign exploiting the Google+ brand, spammers are sending out bogus Google+ invitations that in reality point to online pharmacies.

The messages look similar to the real emails that users may receive from friends who are already members of Google+.

Not really a big surprise there...but +1 for how quickly this guys move:p

I am confident that they will work that out before Google+ goes live. :)
I am really looking forward to Google+. I am having trust issues when it comes to Facebook, so i am looking for an alternative and Google+ looks promising.

note: I know Google+ isn't designed as a direct alternative to Facebook, but it has the features i use in Facebook so that makes it an alternative to me.

Isn't designed officially to be a alternative for Facebook ..but G+ can do everything that Facebook does, I mean it even has a similar "Like" button ...
Google+ looks more complex, a better alternative to Facebook.Lets see what Facebook will do next. :)

The Wall looks exactly like in Facebook :p

Seems Google+ is like another social networking site (but let's see how people will crave on new development by Google) , but since its new development, bug or flaw is very normal and it can fix in ASAP.

So its clearly shows that Facebook is just a simple networking site (without any other purpose for) while Google+ its 4 in 1.

It’s another warning for Facebook as the New York Times gives Google+ a one-up when it comes to handling privacy. - link

NICK BILTON; New York Times said:
When I signed up for Google+, I quickly posted a link to a New York Times article I wanted to share with people. Several hours later my Google+ link lay dormant. No comments. No +1 clicks. And no resharing the link.

It wasn’t until later that I realized that my post had been made private by default; a Google+ user has to specifically say they want to share a post publicly. By doing this, Google has chosen to opt users out of being public, rather than the standard practice by most other services to automatically opt users in.
