ShadowDefender and Vmware Workstation

I have read that a malware can escape the VM and infect the host system, so i asked myself: can i turn on Shadow Defender and then start up a VM with Vmware Workstation or there may be some conflict?

You can but it will put a load on the system. I use Appguard go protect the vmware processses.
