If you need to send sensitive data over the Internet you should encrypt it first. But what about the other side? The recipient will probably not like the idea of buying and learning some software just to decrypt your file. No problem here if you are using Silver Key.

Is this any different than the self Encryption options you can use with Ashampoo's Winoptimizer 15's options? It has an option where you can encrypt a file and have it password protected and send it to someone and it will still be encrypted until you unlock it with a password.
