Users of RnBXclusive.com were greeted with this message after the site was taken down on Tuesday morning

Music site RnBXclusive.com has been shut down by the UK's Serious Organised Crime Agency (Soca).

A takedown notice warned visitors who have used the site to download music they could face up to 10 years imprisonment and an unlimited fine.

Soca said music posted on the site was "stolen from the artists" and may have "damaged careers".

A man has been arrested for fraud and bailed pending further enquiries, police told the BBC.

Stolen from the artists.....lol. Do the artist know that almost all their songs are available on Youtube for free to view and download (via some 3rd party tools/websites)?
Are the artists those who feel like their music is stolen or the record companies.....?
If they don't like it maybe they shouldn't use this HUGE channel of distribution for their media.... If 3 billion people see your video , you can bet that at least 100 mil will try to get it for free....
Piracy is not something new, that came with the Internet.I remember the pirated audio and video tapes ,which were available in the '80-'90...

I just feel sorry for all those singers/groups/artists only being able to afford 3 or 4 super cars and just a couple of luxery houses (small towns) No wonder their out to get pirates, having to live in such conditions.

Its likely to be more threatening message that downloading music could face up to 10 years that made by regular users to be worried enough.

It's basically a scare-ware message, I doubt they'll waste their time in court with a few users ....
I did hear that someone in Sweden got convicted to ten years due to piracy but far as I understand they were trying to give an example.......
