Actually I have a way out of it. I can ask a computer shop guy to reinstall OS completely. But I am very reluctant to do it. You know, to use not legit OS, and I'll have to pay for it. And my employer may take this PC back whenever they want. But that I will be able to switch off Windows updates is very enticing. Now switching off is disabled by the employer. Some days I can hardly use the PC, it lags - it seems to be preparing these Windows updates.
