Sony launches Entertainment Network brand
PSN and rebranded Qriocity service unified under new "global platform"
Sony has unified its digital entertainment services under a new brand titled Sony Entertainment Network.
Announced at the IFA consumer electronics trade show in Berlin, the newly branded platform encompasses the PlayStation Network and Qriocity music and video-on-demand services, which have been renamed Music Unlimited and Video Unlimited.
Planned as a more streamlined way to enjoy online experiences across various Sony platforms, SEN also includes third party "partner services" like Hulu Plus, Netflix, iPlayer and Lovefilm.
