As E3 rolls near with only a few days to go, the rumor mill is working in overdrive. The latest bit to come out into the Interwebs is a rumor alleging that Sony is currently in talks with an online game streaming company such as OnLive and Gaikai.
...
Gaikai recently announced a deal with LG to integrate its services into Smart TVs. This may very well be the scenario that will transpire, as Sony has been adamant about leveraging its vast game library across non-Sony devices.
OnLive is also a good candidate to be bought out as the company has promising tech but has been struggling to find a place in the market. This buyout would be no different than what Microsoft did with the company behind the Kinect technology.
I highly doubt that Sony would be putting OnLive service in its current form on the PS3, but we may see the company utilizing the technology to better improve its streaming capabilities for movies and PS Vita remote play.
