hello, this is my security configuration thread
looks a bit thin but i think it is solid enough protection for a normal everyday use.
i'm open to any suggestions

and a big must is to enable UAC! ( always ask ). I prefer ccleaners registry cleaner over wise one's because ccleaners registry cleaner virtualy has no false positives. nothing else to add from my side , looks good

Thank you @sonylxn for sharing. Much of the advice given by those whom have posted I have followed. I hope you will have activated UAC, & 'Default' works fine for me.

A free program called Sandboxie provides protection with Internet Explorer opened & placed inside a sandbox. It is similar to wearing a raincoat over your body to stay dry when it rains. I do not see a backup & recovery software, it is very important for system integrity in case of crash or bad problems.
l suggest you Paragon B&R free edition alternative to Windows default backup tool.

I also advice you to enable UAC and install Sandboxie. (Sandboxie was developed originally for IE)

I would recommend that you remove Wise Registry Cleaner - those have the potential to cause a lot of harm while bringing little benefit.

• turning on UAC with default setting
• switching from 360ts to AVG IS 2015 (that i just won from MT giveaway)
• added ZAM as on-demand scanner

• replace izarc with bandizip
• replace fdm with eagleget
