I don't think I understand your complaint. I don't use it but for its price I think it's dirt cheap. Just compare the price with other solutions.

Their income is probably mostly from endpoint/business customers anyways

And yes its very cheap 50$ for 2 years, you can protect your whole relatives/family easily throught online management board

Customer support even for freemium users is also nice
