I have got Steam, but never really use it. I mainly use Xfire. Thanks for the heads up Ibrad. :)

Well, if you are using Steam, keep Steam Guard enabled, change your password and make sure you are not using the same password on another account (as suggested on the blog post). Steam Guard acts like a second authentication factor and is available to all account holders. It prevents others from accessing your Steam account from an unknown computer unless they enter a one time code, which is delivered to your email.

As far as I've manage to read online , there was only a breach at their forums so the actual game accounts are safe... But like bogdan mentioned the Steam Guard is a really cool feature which should limit the effects of a possible breach........It's by default ON for all the Steam accounts and I must say that I was very impressed when I first saw it.
